American Crown

American Crown. A mid-season, large-fruited variety for growing outdoors and in greenhouses. The plant, 70-80 cm tall, is open-topped, with large leaves, and produces 7-10 fruits at a time. Fruits are dark green at commercial maturity and bright purple-red at biological maturity. They are 18-20 cm long, weigh 300-600 g, and have a wall thickness of 0.7-1 cm. The peppers are juicy and sweet.
