Antique Roman

Antique Roman. An Italian heirloom introduced by seed keeper John F. Swenson in 1991. Height 2m, indeterminate, mid-season. Produces large quantities of red fruit that range from large, plum-shaped, heart-shaped to elongated, pepper-shaped, weighing up to 350g. Fruit is of high quality, both in texture, which is quite fleshy, and in flavour. Contains very few seeds.
